How it all started 

                                                                             

On May 3rd. our life changed drastically. 

After two weeks of celebrations, unforgettable tributes, warm and touching words of appreciation from colleagues, numerous celebrations, endless toasts and warm, sincere wishes from friends, so many touching moments with family , Ron is actually retired!

His days since then flew by, while wondering were the time went , immersed in work deck painting, gardening a month has disappeared! Time to plan the Road Trip he has been dreaming off " Follow Route 66 " and go on to see the rest of the country visiting places we love, friends we missed and our children we so miss.  We are departing 11June and will return 31July, cover about 8.500 miles, plenty of home work in planning and packing...his list and mine makes one wonder !

The itinerary is set the endless maps and books have been gathered as well as a huge triptych from AAA, as well as every little thing in my endless list of things to pack. That does not include clothes!

Incredibly, most all States that had Hurricanes, Tornadoes, fires, floods and a bridge that collapsed are on our path. What are the chances that this will happen again? 

So above is the map of our first day on route to an unforgettable Odyssey  that we both so look forward to.
