We left late from Billings, as we went to a very well known restaurant of a real
home style breakfast, I think we were the only people who ordered a bowl
of fruit and oatmeal and 7grain cereal!
The size of everything that was being served was like part of the movie "Super size me".
Took off for Mile City, where we visited an absolutely delightful Art Museum.
Had lunch at a restaurant that had been in this small city since 1946 and went
back on the road.
The weather was glorious.
The landscape as we entered North Dakota was lovely.
The weather started changing, we noticed the sky darkening as we were driving. The radio had an emergency announcement that the area we were in was under severe thunder storm warning.
It did not look good, so we were near an exit in the town of Dickinson, were we decided to check in and stay for the night.
Actually it was a good thing we were there, as we were told by the clerk at the hotel as we were checking in that 2 days earlier, there was a Tornado over this area!
We ended up in a Mexican restaurant were margaritas seemed to sound just right
under the circumstances.
It looks like tomorrow we will attempt to get to Fargo.
