We are off to the city of Seattle to spend three nights, Yeah! Cannot wait to see this wonderful city.
We left Vancouver around 9.30 in order to cross the border back to the US and head to Seattle.
This is is a City I have wanted to visit for so long, Ron had been here a few years ago on our anniversary, I attempted back then to join him on a stand by ticket, while I was still working for Olympic Airways. It was a disastrous attempt as every flight I got on was to another city closer to Seattle but not close enough. The non stop flights were full, I ended up doing two overnights at different Airports only to take finally a flight back to Philadelphia so disappointed, while Ron was still in Seattle waiting for me!
So here we are this time in our car and looking forward to enjoy every minute of it.
The border wait was about 40minutes. While there we had a chance to take some interesting pictures.

This was a piece of sculpture once we entered the US border.
We checked in our hotel and went out to explore as much as possible, the famous Pike street Market that was filled with
people annoying the beautiful afternoon, we decided to go Monday as it would be too busy today, we had a...European lunch around 3.30PM, enjoying life going right by in such a colorful way!
We walked around the very busy Seattle harbor, with the cruise ships going in and out to the Puget Sound and islands,
walked by vendors with unique artwork, the original Starbucks, that had a line a block long, the Beecher's hand made cheese place were you watch them make the cheese.
It was a treat being in the city on a Sunday afternoon as we ended up not having to fight any crowds of vacationers.
After a few hours we sat down outside at a French Bistro, had a wonderful Bordeaux and Ron had something he
enjoys so much a plate with charcuterie with delicious cured meats, while I had the best Trout ever!
A perfect ending for a great day!
Some pictures from our walk around the waterfront:
For some reason, I loved this wall, it had wonderful colors against
the black wall.
What a wonderful view and way to say goodnight.
